Costume Rental Terms & Conditions

1. All costume rentals are subject to a deposit of 25%, refundable upon the return of items in agreed condition.

2. Rental period is agreed in advance; late returns may incur additional charges unless otherwise discussed.

3. Costumes must be returned in good condition. Minor wear is expected, but any significant damage or staining may incur a repair or replacement fee.

4. Items are rented as-is. Repairs, adjustments, or cleaning required after use should be discussed beforehand. - 

5. Local delivery is available at an additional cost based on fuel mileage. Free collection is also available by arrangement.

6. Items must not be altered, cut, dyed, or modified in any permanent way.

7. The hirer accepts full responsibility for the costume during the hire period.

8. Any loss or theft of the costume must be reported immediately, and replacement costs may apply. 9. By renting, the hirer agrees to these terms and conditions

Burton Costume Project does not offer bespoke costume design services. Any styling or show-specific use is the responsibility of the hirer. While we’re happy to suggest items that may suit your production, this is informal guidance only and not professional design advice.
